* Ivanko's PermaLock™ fastening system employs proprietary machining tolerances and surface preparation to achieve a metal-to-metal bond that requires 400 foot pounds of torque to twist apart.

  • IVANKO R plates, average weight +/- 2%
  • Closer to actual weight of each size plate, or competition is +/- 5% at best.
  • All "R" plates have an accurately machine-drilled hole to fit the IVANKO bar. EP1.25B end plate is ductile cast iron, black textured finish.
  • IVANKO R plates will fit perfectly on the barbell bar. No oversize hole, no slop in fitting plates of the bar as the other brands. EP-1.25B won't crack or break.
  • All SDH handles are one-piece, solid steel with 30mm, black oxide, heavy-knurled grip.
  • Strong steel 27mm standard handle offers a better, more sure grip.
  • "R" plates are painted with a tough, polyester-based paint applied by an electrostatic process and baked for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • Hammertone-finish is harder and stronger and looks better than a conventional battleship gray color.
  • IVANKO bolt lock system with ductile iron end cap and brass IVANKO logo with weight number plate.
  • IVANKO ductile cast iron cap protects the plates and provides an attractive finish to the barbell with the logo and weight identity clearly visible.
  • Packed on wooden pallets or crates by the set.
  • Pallets are sealed and banded for security. Easy to unload with a pallet jack.
